In a secular sense picnic means a time of masti, joy and celebration. However the annual picnic of St Pius College for which the staff and students eagerly wait is not just a time of to rock and roll but also a time of convivence radiating faith, hope and love. 24th February , 2020 is a date which will remain in our memories because the annual community picnic at Farm Regency Resort Gorai was a relaxing experience for all amidst the tiring schedule of academics and assignments. Gonsalo Garcia Feast Celebration

St Gonsalo Garcia holds the honor of being the first Indian to be canonised. He is the patron of the Diocese of Vasai and the second patron of the Archdiocese of Bombay. Every year St Pius College remembers and celebrates the life of this great missionary of Japan who like Christ died on the cross and became a shining beacon of discipleship. This year continuing the tradition we began the celebrations with a festive mass offered by our alumnus Fr Christopher Vaz from the Diocese of Vasai. Blood Donation Camp 2020

The universal church celebrates 11th February, which is the Feast of our Lady of Lourdes, as the World Sick Day. Conscious of the fact that as Christians we are called to be the Ambassadors of healing to the sick the St Pius College Infirmary Department in collaboration with Holy Family Hospital decided to organise a blood donation drive. We began the day with a solemn feast mass which was celebrated at the Seminary Grotto. The main celebrant of the feast mass was Fr Gilbert D'lima.
