Independence Cup - 2018
The clergy football team of the Archdiocese of Bombay was privileged to be invited to play a rink football match against the former national and international players of Bandra. Without a shadow of a doubt, it was the game that was most eagerly awaited by the Bandra parishioners and players at the Independence Cup Rink Football Tournament 2018 held at Salsette CHS, Bandra. St Pius X College conducted a blood donation drive on the 14th of August 2018 the eve of our 72nd Independence Day, for the entire community of staff (teaching and non-teaching) and students. The Rector, Fr. Aniceto Pereira commenced the drive by leading the congregation into a moment of prayer and thanked everyone involved for their generosity. The 10 member team from Holy Family Hospital led by Sr. Jessy Jose helped facilitate the drive. The drive was held from 1.30pm to 5.
