Welcoming the Propaedeutic (13th June, 2025)

The St. Pius X community warmly welcomed 10 new aspirants to the priesthood on June 13, 2025, as they joined the St. Pius family. A heartfelt prayer service, led by the 1st-year philosophers in the main chapel at 6 pm, marked their official welcome. The new aspirants were joined by their loved ones, and after the prayer service, Seminary Rector Fr. Gilbert de Lima extended a warm welcome. He reminded them of the precious value of their vocation and the importance of walking together towards God, encouraging them to hold onto Him firmly, especially during challenging times.

Representing various dioceses, the new aspirants include seven from the Archdiocese of Bombay, two from the Diocese of Mysore, and one from the Diocese of Sindhudurg. The St. Pius X family accompanies them with prayers and support as they embark on their journey to become “Ambassadors for Christ.”
