Bombay Brothers Outing – 6th to 7th January, 2023

The Brothers belonging to the Archdiocese of Bombay returned to the seminary on 5th January for dinner. The Bombay Brothers along with Fr Aniceto and Fr Prashant left for Alibag from Gateway of India and reached Alibag via the Jetty. Fr Simon Rodrigues being the Asst. Parish Priest of Mary of Nazareth Church, Alibaug welcomed us and made arrangements for our food and stay in the parish itself. We started with a session given by Fr Simon followed by Mass and lunch. The brothers and Fathers were then taken to pay a visit to the Neighbouring school run by the Sisters. The Sisters being hospitable arranged for tea and snacks. The Brothers then moved to the Beach where they played some group games, some went to see the fort, while some took a walk along the beach. After dinner, the brothers organized a bonfire session with snacks, music, and games. The next day, the Brothers along with the Fathers left for Korlai. In Korlai, the brothers attended Marathi mass celebrated by the parish priest of Mt Carmel Church, Korlai, Fr Bonaventure. This was followed by Breakfast, a session by Fr Bonaventure Nunes, and then a trip to Korlai fort. The Brothers and fathers came back to Alibaug for lunch and then returned to Mumbai via Jetty.
