New Comers Day, themed “Pius Mahagathbandan,” was a delightful and engaging event inspired by the recent political drama that unfolded in our state of Maharashtra. The even marked by a series of well-coordinated programs that showcased the talent and spirit of the participants. The event commenced with a heartfelt opening prayer, setting a serene and hopeful tone for the day. Following this, the 1st Year Theologians and 1st Year Philosophers mesmerized the audience with their dynamic dance performances, displaying a blend of traditional and contemporary moves. The newest members in the seminary, Propaedeutic Year then took the stage, delivering an energetic and captivating dance performance that left everyone in high spirits. Their enthusiasm was truly infectious. The Rector Fr Gilbert de Lima, graced the occasion with his encouraging words, inspiring the newcomers with wisdom and motivation. His speech was a highlight, resonating deeply with all present. A fancy dress competition followed, featuring Brothers in creative and imaginative costumes. The competition was a fun and lively event, bringing out the competitive and playful side of the participants. The evening concluded on a high note with another dance performance, leaving the audience in awe and ensuring that the day ended with a burst of joy and celebration. Overall, the New Comers Day was a successful and memorable event, celebrating the unity and vibrancy of the community.
