Ordinati day – 23rd August,2023

Homecoming is always filled with a lot of joy and celebration. St Pius X community was elated to celebrate the feast of its patron and also to welcome the newly ordained priests who completed their studies at this prestigious institution. Every year on the ordination day, the newly ordained priests come together at their alma mater to express their gratitude and love and to cherish the good moments they had here. The theme for this year’s ordinati day celebration was ‘God Goes Out In Search Of Us’. The newly ordained priests gathered around the altar along with the staff and community for the solemn Eucharistic celebration. Fr Jordan was the main celebrant. Fr Dixon preached the homily, reminding us about the skillful God who chose us to work in his vineyard even when we were not skilled. It is the skill of the master that qualifies us for this great labor. Fr Dylan expressed his gratitude to everyone on behalf of his batch. Later, a cultural programme was put up by the fourth-year theologians. Fr Alwin shared his good memories of this seminary and also his experience as a newly ordained priest in a mission state. Fr Aniceto addressed the gathering, thanking the ordinati and the community for making this day beautiful and special.
