Ordination Eve Prayer Service

The batch of third year of theology traditionally conducts a prayer service for the deacons, on the eve of their ordination to the priesthood. The theme of the prayer service was "Ad Jesum Per Mariam" i.e., "To Jesus, through Mary". The theme was adapted from the ordination motto of the Deacons. The solemn prayer service included reflection on the miracle at the wedding in Cana, an address by the Rector, Fr. Aniceto Pereira, and an explanation of the ordination logo of each deacon. Fr. Aniceto spoke on various pastoral applications of the two important principles of Synodality i.e., Modus Operandi and Modus Vivendi. The prayer service was concluded by praying for various intentions. We pray for Dn. Aaron and Dn. Herold that they continue the good work in our Lord's vineyard.
