Rite of Candidacy- 8th February, 2024.

“Give thanks to the Lord for He is good; His love endures forever" (1 Cor. 16:34). This verse came to my mind when Br Armstrong Joseph and myself were admitted to the rite of Candidacy conferred by His Lordship Bishop Perceival Fernandes. It began the previous day with the solemn prayer service conducted by the third-year theologians during which we were vested with cassocks. The moment we were blessed by Fr Aniceto Pereria my eyes filled with tears, with gratitude. I felt the love of God and it reminded me of His call. I was moved by the theme "To be Instruments of His Love" chosen for the rite of candidacy. I thank God for the all blessings that he has showered upon both of us so that we may be his "Instruments of Love."
