Spiritual Conference – 13th November, 2023

“Take care of your spiritual life, your relationship with God, because this is the backbone of everything we do and everything we are”, says Pope Francis. The spiritual conference of this month was held on the 13 th Monday to strengthen the spiritual lives of seminarians and to deepen their Christ experience. The theme for this conference was “Seeing’. The conference was animated by Mr. Conrad Saldanha, a renowned writer, trainer, mentor, educator, and consultant. He urged the seminarians to view even negative situations from a positive perspective, reminding us that ‘even addictions can be blessings. Furthermore, he explained how to embrace the negative part of our lives, the importance of non-attachment, and the fact that life is a paradox, where life is miserable while at the same time being great. The oneness we share with everyone around us encourages us to see the holiness in everyone. The speaker ended by quoting Teilhard de Chardin, “The whole life lies in the verb seeing."
